Hi APLNext and APL2000 Conference Attendees:

We want to thank you for joining us at the DevConNext Conference 2006 in Naples.  As we all come together from around the world to make this our best conference ever, we know you will find many new and exciting opportunities to create new applications and build on your existing code base.  It is our honor to spend these four days with you and both share our new APL developments and learn from you about your needs for creating the applications of the future.

We hope our focus on introducing our version of APL for .Net and the future meets your development needs.  The sessions are full of tools, strategies and solutions to help you create applications which leverage all of the existing .Net Framework tools and those new tools to come in the forth coming year.

Over the last few years as we have completed the development of APL for .Net we have learned that having an APL that is truly integrated and a first class citizen on the computing platform is indespensible in creating applications that are successful, competitive and designed to meet the requirements of corporations around the world.

With the new NoTouch deployment you will be able to make your application available over the internet to users, with cost structures based on use.  With Web Projects you can integrate your APL with ASPX and IIS, making APL an integral part of any Web application development. 

Included with your conference registration this year is a flash drive which will contain both the conference documentation and a host of screen casts designed to maximize your understanding of APLNext. In addition you will receive a DVD with a complete set of screen casts. When you can't find anything you want to watch on TV, just pop in the APLNext DVD. Imagine a cosy fire, your spouse, and a good APL screen cast, what better way to spend a winter's evening.

Our conference this year will be at the Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club.  The Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club is a beautiful beachfront resort located directly on the Gulf of Mexico. The spectacular sunsets and charm of this venue are unparalleled. The hotel is holding a block of rooms for us at a special conference rate of 143.50 USD/night until October 12, 2006. Rooms fill quickly so make your reservations early. Breakfast, lunch and snack breaks are provided each day. Dinner and entertainment Tuesday night is also included. Additional tickets for Tuesday evening’s festivities can be purchased in advance for 80.00 USD.  The closest major airport is Southwest Florida International Airport (Ft. Myers). Car rental and van/taxi service to the hotel can be arranged at the airport.

I’d like to leave you with these key actions to help you drive your applications forward:
