APLNext Introduces VisualAPL
VisualAPL Enables Rapid Development of Dynamic and Array
Based Applications Using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 on the Microsoft .NET Platform
May 10, 2007 —
APLNext today announced
the release of VisualAPL, a dynamic, array based, object-oriented programming language
built from the ground up to exploit the power of APL and Microsoft Visual Studio
2005 on the .NET platform. VisualAPL enables APL developers to use existing skills
to rapidly build sophisticated dynamic applications. To simplify integration and
interoperability, VisualAPL is fully compliant with ISO/IEC 13751, the international
standard for APL array based languages, and is tightly integrated with Microsoft
Visual Studio 2005.
With its elegant object-oriented,
array based design, VisualAPL is a great choice for developers building a wide range
of high-performance dynamic applications and components -- from complex financial
calculation services to server-side and system-level applications.
VisualAPL combines modern object-oriented principles with the strength of
APL, enabling developers to accomplish more with fewer lines of code, and with fewer
opportunities for error. VisualAPL builds on the skills that many programmers and
organizations have already developed, enabling improved time to market, reduced
development cost, and the ability to keep pace with the rapidly changing world of
.Net technologies.
Founded in 2005, APLNext
provides software, services and Internet technologies for personal and business
computing. The company provides a wide range of products for the .Net development
platform, including the APLNext family of .Net web server technologies. Full details
about VisualAPL and related technologies are available at the VisualAPL website:
http://www.VisualAPL.com/
VisualAPL is available as
a commercially licensed product or as VisualAPL Express, which is free for demonstration,
evaluation and non-commercial use.
